We are so excited to welcome you back to our locations in Blackstock, Ontario and Colborne, Ontario in 2023. Visiting Our Tiny Farmstead you'll have the chance to meet our animals, chat with your local farm-her, enjoy the outdoors and be educated on agricultural living.
We will continue to run some of our Farm Experiences at both locations with limited availability.
INCLEMENT WEATHER/UNSAFE TERRAIN – Our Tiny Farmstead reserves the right to cancel booked farm activities or the ability to come onto the property for the purposes of farm tours, and alpaca trekking, photography sessions, and/or yoga events if there is adverse weather and/or unsafe terrain.

Alpaca Picnic
Offered at Colborne Location
Want to go on a picnic? alpaca lunch
The Alpaca Picnic is a 1-hour experience eating lunch (bring-your-own-picnic) on Our Tiny Farmstead with our chickens, alpacas, angora goats and babydoll sheep, in a peaceful surrounding.
Price: $50/Table (Maximum 8 People)
Add-on: $7/Animal Feed

Alpaca Trekking/Lazy Grazing
Offered at the Colborne and Blackstock Location
The 60-minute Alpaca Trekking is an extraordinary experience for our guests to enjoy. The experience will begin with an Alpaca Handling Tutorial to ensure our visitors are educated about Alpacas and how to properly handle them during the trek. The Alpaca Trekking (or a lazy grazing stroll) experience will include visitors walking our alpacas by the halter and lead in a fenced-in pasture. Then once the guest is comfortable with handling the alpaca, the trekking experience will continue through our private trails.
Maximum 6 people per trek - Three people share an alpaca.
Anyone under the age of 12 years old, must be accompanied by an adult/guardian during the full trekking experience.
Adult: $40/Person
Children (6-12 years old): $20/Person (must walk with an adult at all times)
5 and Under: Free (not allowed to walk alpaca unless assisted by an adult/guardian)
Family Package (2 Adults, 2 Children): $100
Group Package (6 Adults): $200
Alpaca Photography Sessions
Offered at the Colborne and Blackstock Location
PHOTOGRAPHERS ONLY
Our Tiny Farmstead is providing photographers with the opportunity to share a unique and exciting experience with their clients. Capture beautiful pictures of your clients walking our alpacas around on the farm. During your visit to the farm, you will be able to see our donkeys, chickens, horses and the rest of the alpaca herd.
Price: $100/per hour

An experienced farm lead handling the alpacas
1-2 alpacas with halters and leads
A beautiful outdoor setting

Farmstead Photography Sessions
Offered at the Colborne Location Only
PHOTOGRAPHERS ONLY
Our Tiny Farmstead is providing photographers with the opportunity to share a unique and exciting experience with their clients. Capture beautiful pictures of your clients surrounded by our unique animals around on the farm. During your photo session on the farm, you will be with our chickens, babydoll sheep, angora goats and our tiny alpaca herd.
Colborne Price: $85/per hour
What is included in the booking?
An experienced farm lead to assist you with the session
Private space for you and your clients
Farm animal snuggles and warm kisses

Alpaca Wedding
Offered in Durham Region, Kawartha Lakes and Northumberland County
Are you planning a Wedding in 2023?
We have a spontaneous idea for you! We have beautiful alpacas available for your wedding day or engagement session. Give your guests an experience they will never forget. Alpaca Cocktail hour? Heck yes!
Price varies depending on duration and location.
What is included in the booking?
An experienced farm lead handling the alpacas
2 alpacas with disinfected halters and leads
Greenery/flowers for the neck or lead
